What Did The Cross Of Christ Achieve For Us? |Colossians 2:13b-15
SERMON NOTES
1. Freedom from the Penalty of our sins. (vv. 13b-14)
*Forgiven all our trespasses.
*Record of debt set aside, nailed to the cross, cancelled.
*Free from all condemnation and any guilt.
2. Freedom from the Power of our spiritual enemies. (v. 15)
*Disarmed them of the power to accuse us.
*Disarmed them of the power to enslave us.

1. She submits to her husband in a manner Consistent with her new identity in Christ.
*Her submission Practically demonstrates that she is a new creation in Christ.
*Her submission Principally flows from her submission to Christ.
2. She submits to her husband in a manner Corresponding to the Church’s submission to Christ.
*She follows the Pattern set for her by Christ.
